Salary:
- Craftsperson Level 1 (Level 2 Qualification): £38,850 (£19.41 per hour)
- Craftsperson Level 2 (New Level 3 Qualification): £41,304.09 (£20.63 per hour)
- Technician (Experienced Level 3 Qualified): £43,757.70 (£21.86 per hour)
Shift Building Maintenance Electrician - Bristol
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Building Maintenance Electrician to join their engineering team on a continental shift pattern in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to move into a permanent position after a successful 12-week temporary period.
Working within a busy maintenance environment, you will be responsible for delivering both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of electrical building services and plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs.
- Perform electrical fault finding, testing and inspections.
- Complete repairs, upgrades and installation work.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and site procedures.
- Support maintenance of associated mechanical and building services systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
- Work effectively within a multi-skilled engineering team.
- Comply with health, safety and compliance requirements at all times.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
- Experience within facilities management, commercial building maintenance, healthcare or industrial environments.
- Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience.
- Ability to work a rotating days and nights shift pattern.
- Knowledge of BS7671 and safe systems of work.
- DBS check required.
