We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across one office block over two floors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for client and staff. Evening hours from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, Monday to Friday suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with opportunities to be offered work at other contracts.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in offices, kitchen and toilets to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and staircases
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any client or staff queries professionally
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene throughout the premises
Qualifications
- Previous experience in office cleaning is essential
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision adhering to the specification
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for this role
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
