Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of daily administrative functions within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various clerical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and supporting different departments as needed. A strong proficiency in office software and excellent communication skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Organising and maintaining files, records, and documentation.
- Performing data entry tasks with accuracy.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events to ensure efficient time management
- Preparing correspondence and reports.
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Ensuring the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and data entry software
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and record management
- Ability to work independently whilst also being a collaborative team player
