Williams Classics Ltd are looking for highly skilled and experienced motor vehicle technician. For both modern and classic vehicles. Preferably with Land Rover experience, but not essential.
Currently at our workshop in Abergele, Conwy. However we are moving in the next few months to our new site in Mochdre, Conwy. (Former National Tyres/Halfords Autocare Site)
This is a friendly, team orientated workshop, focused on quality not quantity. A majority of our work is on our own sales vehicles, with some servicing work on customers vehicles.
We are currently finishing a new purpose built workshop and new MOT Station which will be along side our current sales centre in Mochdre.
Package dependent on candidate skills and abilities. We are looking to take on candidates from the surrounding areas and those who may be looking to relocate. NO AGENCIES PLEASE.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Experience with Land Rovers.
- Welding skills, but not essential.
- Electrical Experience
- Carry out vehicle maintenance, servicing and repairs.
- Utilising your technical knowledge
- Suggesting and making improvements to processes
- Working on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Fault finding and Diagnostics
- Repairing and replacing parts.
- Preparing vehicle's for a pre mot.
- Mot Tester
- Carry out test drives
Qualifications and Skills
Ideally a minimum of 10 years experience in a workshop. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and looking to challenge their abilities repairing what some may say is 'un-repairable'.
Must have a driving license.
