Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pizza Chef to join our multi-site kitchen operation. Mainly working for Redwell Pizzas in Trowse, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in making pizzas from scratch and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. We are a progressive hospitality group, with great career opportunities across Ginger Lily Catering and Urban Lounge. The hours for this role are; Fridays 4pm till finish, Saturdays 12-finish and Sunday 12-4pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Pizzas in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, including seasonal offerings and special events, while considering customer preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
- Excellent culinary skills with creativity in menu design and presentation.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding dining experiences for guests.
