We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing business for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to provide financial analysis, reporting and business insight, working closely with senior management and operational teams to support business performance and growth.
The Role
As Financial Analyst, you will:
- Produce weekly and monthly financial performance reports.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Carry out variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and previous performance.
- Support annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Develop financial models, projections and scenario analysis.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs.
- Support profitability and cost analysis.
- Work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.
- Provide financial insight to support business decisions.
- Support investment appraisals, business cases and capital expenditure projects.
- Develop management reports and KPI dashboards.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, processes and data quality.
- Support ERP reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience as a Financial Analyst, Finance Analyst, FP&A Analyst, Commercial Finance Analyst or similar.
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience analysing financial and operational data.
- Experience working with operational stakeholders.
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
