Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems, to the very highest level. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose plumbing problems and determine the best course of action for repairs.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters when necessary for project completion.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
Skills
- Proven experience in plumbing is essential, to a high level.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transporting tools and materials as needed.
