Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Manage cash register operations, process payments efficiently, and handle tips professionally.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, monitor inventory levels, and assist with stock rotation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service.
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
