Community Care Assistants Wanted – WAKEFIELD AREA ONLY

Our working shift patterns are as follows:
Breakfast & Lunch calls: 7AM - 2PM / Teas & Bed calls: 4PM - 10PM and alternative weekends
Please note - we ask for our Care Workers to be able to work alternate weekends to ensure good continuity of care to our service users. If it is your weekend on, you will receive a day off during the week
Rate of pay is
- Weekdays Rate: - £13.00 per hour + Mileage
- Weekend Rate: - £13.40 per hour + Mileage
- Full & Part Time work available.
Car Drivers preferred - If you do not have your own transport, we will endeavour to find local work for you, however you must be prepared to travel on public transport to various postcodes
As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person‑centred support that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
· Personal Care including bathing, dressing, and continence care
· Preparation and cooking of meals
· Dementia/Alzheimer’s Friendly Support
· Medication Support (prompting/assistance as per care plan)
· End‑of‑Life Care delivered with sensitivity and respect
· Laundry and light household tasks
· Shopping calls (with or on behalf of the person)
· Social visits to reduce isolation and promote wellbeing including support to appointments
· Accompanying individuals to medical or other essential appointments
