People Services Administrator
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Wakefield College
Salary: £28,316 to £29,754 per annum
We have a fantastic opportunity for a People Services Administrator to join our supportive and friendly People Services team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group.

As a HR / People Services Administrator, your duties will extend across a range of administration tasks such as:
- Preparing documentation
- Recruitment pre-employment checks, as well as assisting with the whole recruitment and selection process
- Processing new starters and leavers,
- Updating and maintaining the HR system and records
- Responding to general HR queries from managers and staff.
As a HR / People Services Administrator, you should have:
- GCSE grade A*- C / 9 - 4 in English and Maths as a minimum or equivalent.
- Experience of working as part of a team delivering a customer focused service.
Experience of working in a Human Resources administration environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- Competence in administration processes and procedures, along with high levels of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Confident in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages.
- Time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team to meet team priorities as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and find solutions.
