Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care.

Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise and support children during play, learning, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Foster a warm and inclusive environment that encourages children’s independence and confidence.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the setting.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and well-being.
- Manage behavioural issues with patience and professionalism, promoting positive behaviour strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of the EYFS, child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Experience in managing or organising childcare activities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Applicants should possess excellent organisational skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Holds a full and relevant level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification

Pay: From £24,420.00 per year
