Overview
We are seeking an experienced Temporary Works Coordinator to oversee vital civils and infrastructure packages on a major healthcare-related project in the Loudwater area.
This role is ideal for a strong supervisor or manager with a solid technical grounding in piling, reinforced concrete, and groundworks, who can ensure the highest standards of safety and programme delivery on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Temporary Works: Manage and coordinate all temporary works processes on-site, ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations.
- Site Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across civils, piling, and concrete works.
- Team Leadership: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain high productivity and quality assurance.
- Health & Safety: Drive rigorous health and safety standards, carry out site inspections, conduct toolbox talks, and manage RAMS and permits.
- Documentation: Manage site documentation, interpret technical drawings, and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Supervisor, Site Manager, or Temporary Works Coordinator within a civils or heavy infrastructure environment.
- Strong background in piling, reinforced concrete (RC), and complex groundworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- Ability to work reliably on-site in the Loudwater area.
Certifications & Qualifications
- SMSTS (Manager) OR SSSTS (Supervisor) is essential.
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) qualification is essential.
- CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred).
- First Aid at Work (essential).
