Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for maintaining clean and hygienic environments in commercial settings. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of our premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for clients and staff alike. Flexibility in working hours and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this position. Applicants must be available for early morning shifts approx 9.30 starts and be able to work Saturday and Sunday mornings
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial premises, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and restock restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met at all times
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain waste collection areas
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail are required to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adhere to scheduled shifts
