Vehicle Paint Sprayer
Location: Livingston, West Lothian
Shift: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (working hours can be discussed at interview)
Salary: £41,230 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join a busy automotive bodyshop in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a Temp to Perm position within a modern workshop, painting a wide range of vehicles to the highest standards.
We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals with previous bodyshop experience, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing vehicles and panels for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming.
- Mixing and applying paints to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Carrying out colour matching and blending.
- Painting vehicles and panels to manufacturer and company standards.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Working efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Working closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure vehicles are completed on time.
The Person:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician, or similar bodyshop role is essential.
- Good knowledge of modern automotive paint systems and application techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
