Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and dental nursing, demonstrating excellent communication and organizational skills. As a Dental Nurse, you will support dentists during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within the clinic.
The successful candidate will work in chorlton starting date 16th November.
Flexible working hours ideal, with opportunity to work some evening and weekend .
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials efficiently.
- Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout treatment.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to uphold safety standards.
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Organize appointment schedules and coordinate with patients to optimize clinic workflow.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as stock management and equipment maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external providers to facilitate seamless dental care delivery.
Qualifications
- Recognized qualification in dental nursing from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting.
- Proficiency in IT systems related to healthcare management and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of current infection control standards and safety regulations in dental practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism.

The successful candidate who can work part time or full time will work in the new Chorlton clinic with expectant date of 16th Nov. If the Candidate can commute to Jct 20 in Blackley, then there is a temporary position available there until November.
Pay: £15.00 per hour
