We are looking for a dedicated Services Pharmacist who will primarily concentrate on Weight Loss & Travel Clinic, to work one a day a week on Saturdays (4-6 hrs).
We are a busy dispensary which aims to provide an efficient and friendly service to all our patients. The pharmacist will be supported by a fantastic and experienced dispensary support team.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly driven and highly motivated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role providing these Services to the local community. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient counselling.
- Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication administration and patient care.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs or food.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.
Qualifications
- GPhC registered Pharmacist
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
