Job Overview

You’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen team, maintaining high food standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of food to a high standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen.
- Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required.
- Support chefs during busy service periods.
- Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock correctly.
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to deliver excellent service.
- Keep food preparation areas clean and well-stocked.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the kitchen management team.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- A commitment to food safety and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
