The Role
- Meet and greet patients
- Take payments
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
- Type emails and correspondence
- Maintain patient records and respect confidentiality
- Help with marketing / PR projects and clinic social media
- Provide general reception and office support computer & word-processing skills essential)
- Maintain office presentation and general cleaning
- Ongoing training provided, including fully-paid seminars (2/3 times/year out of town, over a weekend)
What we're looking for
- High energy, enthusiasm, positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Great telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills (social-media skills a bonus)
- Proactive, organized, reliable, and consistent
- Eager to be challenged, learn new skills, and grow into new roles
- Health-conscious
- Works well in a team
- Experience in a similar healthcare support role is a plus, not essential
- Own means of transport essential, or walking distance to the practice.
Schedule
- Mon–Thurs, 6.15am–12:15pm, with potential to move to full time.
- Holiday cover a must.
- Full practice hours: Mon – Thurs, 6.15am - 6.30 pm, Fri 7.15am – 3pm, Saturday 8.00 – 3pm.

Pay: From £12.75 per hour
