Join the team at The Highfield, an intimate 18-bedroom boutique hotel in the heart of Keswick, with stunning views over Derwentwater and the surrounding Lake District fells. We're a proud, friendly, family-run hotel. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Housekeepers/Hosts.
About the Role
You'll play a key part in making sure every guest's stay starts and ends with a beautifully clean, comfortable room. Duties include:
- Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms to a high standard
- Changing and making beds, replenishing linens and towels
- Restocking tea/coffee facilities and toiletries
- Hoovering, dusting, and general tidying of guest rooms and corridors
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damage
- Helping maintain our public areas, lounges, and garden spaces to the same high standard guests love us for
What We're Looking For
- A keen eye for detail and pride in a job well done
- A friendly, can-do attitude and good timekeeping
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential — full training given
- Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team
