Pitman Training North West London is proud to be the UK’s flagship Pitman Training centres and a busy professional examinations centre. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Examinations Invigilator & Learning Coach to join our friendly and supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing organisation delivering professional examinations for leading awarding bodies whilst supporting learners throughout their learning journey.
No two days are the same, and you’ll play an important role in helping hundreds of learners and examination candidates achieve their goals every year.
About the Role
The majority of your role will involve preparing, administering and invigilating professional computer-based examinations whilst ensuring all awarding body regulations and security procedures are followed.
You’ll also provide support to Pitman learners, helping them stay motivated throughout their studies, as well as assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer professional computer-based examinations.
- Invigilate examinations in accordance with awarding body regulations.
- Verify candidate identity and complete examination check-in procedures.
- Schedule examination bookings and manage daily timetables.
- Maintain accurate examination records and reports.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to examination candidates.
- Support Pitman learners throughout their studies.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries.
- Welcome learners and examination candidates.
- Support the administration and daily operation of the training centre.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Confident using IT systems.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable following strict examination procedures.
- Enthusiastic about supporting learners and helping people succeed.
Previous examinations, education or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
