The Opportunity
We are expanding our medical team and are seeking an experienced General Practitioner with a Special Interest in Women's Health to join our clinic on a self-employed, commission-based basis.
We are looking for a compassionate and forward-thinking GP with extensive experience in women's health, who is confident delivering comprehensive care across every stage of a woman's life—from reproductive health through to menopause and healthy ageing.
The successful candidate must have strong clinical experience in:
- Women's health consultations
- Gynaecological examinations
- Cervical screening (smear tests)
- Perimenopause and menopause management
- Hormonal health assessment and optimisation
- Contraception counselling and management
- Sexual and reproductive health
- PCOS assessment and management
- Investigation and management of menstrual disorders
- Health screening and preventative medicine
- Blood testing, hormonal investigations and diagnostic interpretation
- Weight management and metabolic health
- Longevity and preventative medicine

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive GP consultations with a focus on women's health
- Perform gynaecological examinations and cervical screening (smear tests)
- Assess, diagnose, investigate and manage a wide range of women's health conditions
- Assess, diagnose and manage hormonal conditions, including perimenopause and menopause
- Request, interpret and explain laboratory investigations, including hormonal blood tests and other diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications within your scope of practice
- Develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Promote preventative healthcare and long-term wellbeing
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with CQC standards
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care
- Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, professionalism and clinical governance
Requirements
- GMC Registered General Practitioner with a licence to practise
- MRCGP (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience and a strong clinical focus in Women's Health
- Confident performing gynaecological examinations and cervical screening (smear tests)
- Strong experience in assessing, diagnosing and managing hormonal conditions, including perimenopause, menopause and other women's endocrine health concerns
- Experience requesting and interpreting hormonal blood tests and diagnostic investigations
- Excellent consultation and communication skills
- Experience within private practice is highly desirable
- Valid professional indemnity insurance
You must also:
- Operate on a self-employed basis
- Be comfortable working within a CQC-regulated environment
- Deliver patient-centred, evidence-based care
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Be open to participating in educational content, videos, and social media initiatives that support patient education and clinic growth
- Maintain a professional, compassionate, and patient-first approach at all times
