Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and organized Office Administrator & Workshop Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role that combines office administration, customer service, bookkeeping support, personal assistant duties, and assisting with the day-to-day running of our alloy wheel refurbishment business. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who is proactive, flexible, and happy to help wherever needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesOffice Administration
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and customer enquiries.
- Greet customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage appointments and maintain company calendars.
- Prepare invoices, quotations, and general correspondence.
- Maintain accurate customer and company records.
- Order office supplies and keep the office running efficiently.
Bookkeeping Support
- Process invoices and receipts.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
- Record expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare information for the company's accountant.
Personal Assistant Duties
- Assist with diary management and scheduling.
- Arrange meetings and appointments.
- Support management with general administrative tasks.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
Alloy Wheel Refurbishment Support
- Book customers in for alloy wheel refurbishment work.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles.
- Coordinate workshop schedules and job bookings.
- Assist with ordering materials and workshop supplies.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop.
Office & Workplace Duties
- Keep the office clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Empty office bins daily.
- Clean office surfaces, kitchen area, and communal spaces.
- Ensure refreshments and supplies are stocked.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Skills & Experience
- Previous office administration experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge is desirable.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Friendly, reliable, and willing to help with a variety of duties.
- A full UK driving licence would be an advantage but is not essential.
Hours & Pay
- Pay: £12.71 per hour.
- Working hours to be discussed at interview.
