Warehouse Team Member
ProFormance Metals is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Team Member.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a company that supplies specialist metals and plastics to the Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence, and Film industries worldwide.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
Pay:
From £24,784.50 per year (national living wage) to be agreed based on experience and skill set.
About the Role:
Our warehouse team plays a key role in handling goods both incoming and outgoing. This includes processing orders, cutting and measuring materials to size, and preparing items for safe and secure delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow picking lists and measure/cut raw materials to specification
- Package goods to suit the product, courier type, and destination
- Operate forklifts or pallet trucks (training provided)
- Build custom wooden pallets and crates using hand and power tools
- Load/unload deliveries and verify paperwork
- Work with the team to pick and prepare orders for despatch
- Perform stock checks and help organise warehouse inventory
- Handle manual lifting of metal tubes, bars, and sheets
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organisation
Additional Office Duties:
- Filing and organising paperwork
- General housekeeping
- Answering phones when needed
