The Role
We are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable Biology and Chemistry tutor to join our team on a self-employed subcontractor basis.
The role involves supporting students across both GCSE and A-Level, with applicants required to be confident teaching both Biology and Chemistry through to A-Level.
Most tuition takes place during weekday evenings, with some weekend availability also beneficial.
Subjects Required
Applicants must be able to teach:
- A-Level Biology
- A-Level Chemistry
- GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics
The following would also be advantageous:
- Experience teaching across multiple exam boards
- Availability for evening and/or weekend tuition
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one online tuition sessions
- Support students with subject understanding, revision and exam preparation
- Plan structured lessons tailored to individual student needs
- Track progress and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate professionally with parents and the Top Marks Tuition team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and Chemistry at A-Level
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, professional and confident working independently
- Comfortable teaching GCSE and A-Level students online
