We are looking for a reliable and hardworking warehouse operative / van driver to join our busy warehouse team. This is a varied role where you will primarily work within the warehouse but will also drive the company van to collect donated bags from customers when required by the business. This role involves both covering for driver absences and carrying out general warehouse duties to ensure smooth and efficient handling of goods.

Warehouse Operative / Van Driver
Location: Washington
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Start Date: Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, sorting, and organising donated goods.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
- Picking, packing, and preparing stock as required.
- Driving the company van to collect donation bags from customers when required.
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Providing excellent customer service during collections.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
- Previous driving experience is essential.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move items safely.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly and professional with good communication skills.
