As Scouts, we believe in empowering young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. And you can be part of that journey as we look for Lead for Scouts and Scout Team Members.
The Lead for Scouts and Scout team members will be responsible for providing support to the development of the Scout programme across Regions and on a national level.
We’re looking for people with the ability to motivate and communicate well with multiple groups. We’re also looking for individuals who are organised and inspired to help support Scouts. Lead for Scouts and Scouts Teams members will be responsible for:

Work with the Regional Teams to make sure that there is a fun, inclusive and age-appropriate programme, for Scout aged young people, which is consistent across Scotland.

Support Scout Team Leads and Regional Lead Volunteers on matters relating to the Scout section.

Create and share programme materials and resources to assist local volunteers in delivering a high-quality programme.

Assist in the delivery of national events to ensure engaging and impactful experiences for young people.

Support and develop new and existing resources available to Scout Teams in Scotland

Work with Regional Programme Teams to support local and regional activities for the Scout section.
