Job Overview:
We are looking for a part time, hard working and versatile farm worker
The successful applicant will be responsible for the ground management of a family run 100 acre equestrian centre. The varied role will include general tasks relating to land work, equipment repair, general building maintenance and paddock management (fencing, hedge cutting, topping and weed control). Ideally the candidate should be familiar with the operation and maintenance of a selection of machinery (tractor, Bobcat and telescopic handler work).
Decisions regarding the daily work schedule will be discussed with the Manager but we are looking for a self-motivated candidate capable of effective time management. Experience with horses is not required. It is essential the equestrian centre maintains its high standard of presentation and provides a safe environment for staff and clients.
The rate of pay is negotiable and will depend on the level of experience or relevant qualifications.
