Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Maintain detailed patient records, including treatment notes and imaging data
- Ensure all dental equipment is sterilized, maintained, and prepared for daily Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations
- Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral structures and dental procedure
- Must be available to work on Saturdays
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and reassure patients of all ages
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
