We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to residents in care homes or individuals receiving home care. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Follow personalised care plans accurately and sensitively
- Maintain clear and effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Document care provided accurately using IT systems
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Drive or accompany residents as needed for appointments or outings (driving experience preferred)
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation of residents or supplies
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
