Duties
As a Panel Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing damaged vehicle body panels using manufacturer-approved repair methods.
- Replacing damaged panels where required.
- Carrying out structural and cosmetic repairs to a high standard.
- Using modern repair equipment and following manufacturer repair procedures.
- Working closely with estimators, painters, and the wider workshop team.
- Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Technician in a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
- Excellent knowledge of modern vehicle repair techniques.
- A strong eye for detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude.
- ATA accreditation (preferred but not essential).
- A full UK driving licence.
