Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Breaking parts from sheet metal.
- Deburring parts.
- Labour duties on CNC machines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring role is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites or similar environments.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- A valid counterbalance forklift licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
