Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide exceptional service
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve customers promptly
- Support food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
