What you’ll be doing:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
- Teach mixed Year 7 and KS2 classes with varying abilities.
- Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum.
- Create a positive, supportive and structured classroom environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SEN professionals and school leaders.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND or within specialist settings is highly desirable.
- A patient, adaptable and nurturing teaching style.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Safeguarding
At Schools Mutual Services, we regard safeguarding as a top priority. All staff must have a valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or be willing to undergo the application process through ourselves. We also require valid education safeguarding training, which we provide completely free of charge.
