Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and food to customers efficiently and courteously, maintaining high standards of service.
- Prepare and organise the bar area, ensuring all equipment is clean and stocked appropriately.
- Take orders accurately using proper serving techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area remains tidy throughout service.
- Support team members during busy periods, contributing to a smooth operation.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times, recognising potential hazards around the premises.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of food safety procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Good knowledge of serving techniques and beverage preparation.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational abilities to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shift patterns as required by the establishment’s hours of operation.
Pay: £12.70-£13.40 per hour
