We are looking for an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join a secondary school site in Winchester for a key mobilisation assignment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, managing teams and helping establish a new catering operation from the ground up.
Enhanced DBS is required.
The Role
As Catering Manager, you will be involved in the mobilisation and setup of a new school site, ensuring everything is ready to operate smoothly and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supporting the catering team
- Assisting with the mobilisation of the new school site
- Helping ensure the site is fully set up and operational
- Organising people, processes and day-to-day catering requirements
- Maintaining high standards of food service, hygiene and customer service
- Working closely with the wider team to ensure a successful launch
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a Catering Manager or similar management role
- Is confident managing and motivating a team
- Has experience working within a catering or education environment
- Is organised, proactive and able to work independently
- Can support the successful mobilisation of a new site
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
