Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation across various premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall upkeep and presentation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during cleaning tasks or minor maintenance activities.
- Assist with specialised cleaning projects as required, including deep cleans of carpets, upholstery, or specialised surfaces.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any faults or repairs needed.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently and thoroughly.
- To undertake builders cleans and sparkles, on new builds and refurbishments.
- End of tenancy cleans.
- Delivering cleaning products, servicing sanitary bins .
- Reach and wash window cleaning.
- Carpet cleaning.
- Jet washing.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation is advantageous.
- Experience with construction or similar environments involving the use of construction-related tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and workplace hygiene standards.
