Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. days working- Monday, Tuesday Thursday Friday Sunday 10-3pm more hours are available from 7am
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces according to company standards
- Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to protect yourself and guests
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
