Arthur’s Wine Bar & Eatery is entering an exciting new phase of growth. Following the successful opening of our newly expanded venue, we are now looking for an experienced, ambitious, and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen and help shape the future of our food offering.

The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for all kitchen operations, team leadership, and maintaining exceptional standards across food quality, safety, and service. You will oversee day-to-day restaurant service, events, and catering while building a strong and motivated kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Deliver a high-quality fresh food menu in line with our established concept during the initial phase
Gradually develop and refine menus, bringing creativity and innovation as the business evolves
Oversee all food preparation to ensure consistency, presentation, and excellence
Manage stock control, ordering, and food costings to maximise profitability and minimise waste
Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation and hygiene standards
Plan rotas and manage shifts to optimise efficiency and service quality
Work closely with management and event organisers to create bespoke menus for private events and functions
Train, mentor, and develop team members to build a positive, professional, and high-performing kitchen culture
About You
Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role within a high-volume hospitality environment
Strong background in fresh food production and menu development
Confident managing kitchen operations, food costs, and stock control
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
A hands-on leader who can motivate, develop, and inspire a team
Creative, driven, and excited by the opportunity to help grow and shape an evolving food offering

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
