Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, programming and maintaining press brake machines to produce precise sheet metal components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication processes. Aeroforma Technologies work a 4 day week, Mon-Thurs 7am-5pm. Opportunities for overtime on Fridays, when required.
Responsibilities
- Set up and adjust press brake machines according to specifications and technical drawings
- Operate press brake machinery safely and efficiently to produce high-quality sheet metal parts
- Monitor machine operation during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy
- Inspect finished components for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press brake equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience with fabrication, sheet metal work, and the operation of press brake machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with hand tools, tooling, and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with various materials
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
