We are looking for a Head of Legal Operations (Legal Operations Manager) who can take ownership of how our firm runs behind the scenes.
This is not just a support function role—you will be the architect of our operational infrastructure. From workflow optimisation to legal technology implementation, you will define how efficiency, compliance, and service delivery come together. You will work closely with senior legal professionals and leadership to ensure the firm operates smoothly, scales effectively, and delivers exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Take ownership of day-to-day legal operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all practice areas and support functions.
Process & Workflow Design:
Develop, refine, and implement efficient workflows across legal and administrative processes to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Legal Technology & Systems:
Lead the selection and implementation of legal tech solutions, including case management systems, document automation, and workflow tools.
Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure internal processes align with UK legal and regulatory standards, maintaining high levels of operational compliance.
Performance & Reporting:
Define and track operational KPIs, providing insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
Team Coordination:
Support and guide administrative and junior operational staff, ensuring alignment with firm standards and priorities.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years in legal operations, law firm management, legal administration, or professional services operations, ideally within a corporate or commercial legal environment.
Operational Mindset:
Strong ability to identify inefficiencies and redesign processes for scalability and clarity.
Technical Awareness:
Familiarity with legal technology platforms, case management systems, or workflow automation tools is highly desirable.
Communication Skills:
Ability to work effectively with lawyers, senior stakeholders, and support teams, translating operational needs into clear actions.
Leadership Ability:
Experience coordinating or mentoring teams in a structured, professional services environment.
Mindset:
You are practical, detail-oriented, and improvement-driven. You focus on making systems work better—not just maintaining them.
Pay: £82,763.52-£120,002.06 per year
