As part of this growth, we’re seeking a proactive and skilled Registry Officer (Course Administration) to join our Academic Registry team and help shape the future of academic administration.
About Us
The Student Experience Directorate brings together services that support every aspect of student life, from wellbeing and accommodation to academic records and graduation. Academic Registry is the central hub for academic administration, working collaboratively across the University and with our external partners to deliver high-quality, student-focused services.
The Role
This is a team leader role within the Academic Registry team. You'll supervise Records & Course Administrators with a keen focus on data. You will manage core teaching administration processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of student records. You'll also play a vital role in scrutinising and challenging existing data processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and coaching others to develop their skills, including the use of tools like Power Automate and SQL to enhance efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading and supporting a team of Records & Course Administrators

Acting as a data analyst and process innovator

Managing course enrolment, module records, and assessment data to inform decisions

Supporting Graduation ceremonies and university-wide events

Coaching staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Driving process enhancements and automation using digital tools

Advising students, staff, and external stakeholders with professionalism and care
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in student records systems (SITSknowledge desirable)

Skilled in administration, IT, and digital tools like Microsoft Office

Comfortable leading teams and coaching others

Analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for improving processes

Knowledgeable about HE regulations and quality assurance (or willing to learn)
