Value Education are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work across welcoming secondary schools in Rochdale and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident education professional who enjoys working with young people and wants the flexibility of supply work, with opportunities for regular bookings and longer-term placements.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain focused, engaged and on task while following pre-prepared lesson plans.
- Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4.

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and learning activities.

Maintain a calm, positive and productive classroom environment.

Manage behaviour in line with school policies.

Support students with their learning and encourage positive engagement.

Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons.

Adapt quickly to different schools, subjects and year groups.

Maintain high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.

Confident managing a classroom independently.

Calm, approachable and consistent when managing behaviour.

Reliable, punctual and adaptable.

Able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Passionate about supporting young people and education.
