Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our care facility .This vital role involves ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for senior and disability care, combined with strong leadership skills, to create a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for residents and their families. As a Registered Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional care services while fostering a positive team culture that promotes growth and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the care facility’s operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff members across various departments, including nursing, caregiving, and administrative teams.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, learning disability,assisted living, and hospice services.
- Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals for case management, medical imaging referrals, laboratory testing, and other specialized services.
- Monitor patient care quality through audits, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to resident health records, incident reports, staff schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Foster strong relationships with residents’ families to ensure transparent communication and personalized support.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living or senior care environments; experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong background in nursing home management or healthcare management roles.
- Demonstrated team management skills with supervising experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices, Alzheimer’s care strategies, learning disability,hospice care protocols, and patient safety standards.
- Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to patient care procedures.
- Experience working in home care settings or managing casework involving complex medical needs.
- Competence in medication administration and understanding of medical imaging or laboratory procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team effectively.
