Care Assistant (Day & Night) – Self-Employed
Location: Palace House Care Home, 460 Padiham Road, Burnley, BB12 6TD

Palace House Care Home is looking for caring, compassionate and reliable Day and Night Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
- Support residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Promote dignity, privacy, independence, choice and respect at all times.
- Assist residents with mobility, nutrition and hydration where required.
- Administer medication where trained and authorised, in accordance with company policies.
- Observe, record and report changes in residents' health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues.
- Follow all company policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements.
About You
- Previous experience working in an elderly care or nursing home setting is preferred.
- Compassionate, caring and respectful.
- Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
Training and ongoing professional development are available for the right candidate.
