Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our landscape and horticultural operations. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of gardening, landscape maintenance, and irrigation tasks, ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces. Duties
- Assist with the utilisation of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
- Support landscape maintenance activities including mowing, pruning, planting, and general garden care.
- Aid in the installation, repair, and upkeep of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution.
- Contribute to the planting and nurturing of new greenery, supporting ongoing gardening projects.
- Perform routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address potential issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support team members in specialised horticultural tasks as required, gaining practical experience in landscape management.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge or growing experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their installation or repair is advantageous.
- Strong interest in gardening, landscaping, or horticultural practices with a willingness to learn more about plant care and landscape design.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

Pay: £27,650.61-£31,000.00 per year
