Van Delivery Driver - Part Time - 2 Days Per Week
Muller South Wales is a precision manufacturing facility, specialising in micromachined high volume parts. Our primary customer sector is dental but we supply for a number of industries.
We are seeking a reliable driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to customers and clients across England and Wales. You will be driving our modern company van twice a week on two different routes.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with company policies
- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and cleaning
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years with a clean driving record
- Over 25 only, due to company insurance requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Forklift licence preferable but not essential as full training can be provided.
Working Hours - 20 Hours - 2 days of work
Tuesday requires approximately 8 hours out, returning to site by 3:00pm.
Thursday requires approximately 10.5 hours out with a journey to Letchworth. Start time is flexible depending on preference, as long as goods are delivered before 4pm.
Breaks - You are entitled to 45 minutes lunch break each day, along with two 15 minute paid breaks.
Start Times - Tuesday will require an early start, before 7am. Thursday is flexible.
Pay - £12.71 per hour with a 3 month probation period.
