Vivisol is currently seeking a Reporting Data Analyst based in Crawley/Stirling to support, improve, and deliver high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions. Working as part of our dedicated BI team, you will drive data quality, refine ETL processes, and deliver actionable insights across the business. We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), a company work vehicle, excellent training and development programs, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, yearly bonus scheme, as well as a starting salary of £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.
The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with 4 days per week being office-based.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Reporting Data Analyst:
- Creating insightful Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Developing and optimizing SQL databases, SSRS reports, and data models.
- Designing, building, and enhancing ETL processes to seamlessly integrate new and existing data sources into the established data warehouse.
- Automating manual data processes and workflows using modern technologies.
- Fine-tuning and maintaining stored procedures, views, functions, and queries to ensure optimal dataset performance and speed.
- Collaborating directly with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate reporting requirements into technical BI solutions.
- Providing technical support, guidance, and systems training to end-users across all internal departments.
- Monitoring and supporting daily operational BI processes to ensure accurate data execution, service level compliance, and prompt issue resolution.
Skills and Qualifications of the Reporting Data Analyst:
- Experience in database administration (DBA) or process improvement roles.
- Knowledge of Power BI, developing SQL Databases, SSRS reports and data models
- Understanding of end-to-end business process lifecycles.
- Formal Business Analysis qualifications.
