Join the team behind one of London’s most innovative bubble tea concepts.
Bobabot by Roboccino is a new robotic takeaway shop serving bubble tea, matcha lattes, iced coffee, lemonade, and more from our location at Baker Street Station.
We're opening our doors now with a soft launch, building toward full operations through September, and are hiring to grow our opening team.
Our robotic system prepares the drinks, allowing staff to focus on ingredient preparation, operations, cleanliness, and customer support when needed.
We're looking for people who can start within the next 1-2 weeks, commit to a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week for at least the first 2-3 months, and are available to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) most weeks.
---------------------------
Key Responsibilities
---------------------------
a- Ingredient Preparation & Operations:
- Prepare tapioca, teas and other ingredients
- Restock robot components and monitor the system throughout the shift
- Respond to system alerts and help ensure smooth operation
- Receive deliveries and check stock quality
- Carry out opening or closing procedures depending on your shift
b- Customer Experience (Outside service):
- Assist customers with ordering when needed
- Answer questions about the drinks and robotic system
- Offer samples and create a welcoming experience
- Help manage customer flow during busy periods
c- Shop Management:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Keep the preparation area organised and well stocked
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the shop
- Problem-solve and make sensible decisions when issues arise

How the Role Works
---------------------------
Unlike a traditional bubble tea shop, the robot prepares and serves the drinks. Most of your shift will be focused on ingredient preparation, restocking, monitoring the system, and maintaining cleanliness standards.
When customers need assistance, or during quieter periods, you may help customers place orders, answer questions about the robotic system, offer samples, and create a welcoming experience.

- High standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Comfortable working independently

- Bubble tea, café, hospitality, or food-service experience
- Experience preparing ingredients in bulk
- Experience with opening or closing procedures
- Food Hygiene Certificate
Nice to Have:
- Experience in bubble tea operations
- Interest in technology, robotics, or innovative retail concepts
- Experience creating social media content

- £13.00–£14.00 per hour depending on experience
- Performance reviews and opportunities for pay increases
- Free drinks during shifts
- Central London location at Baker Street Station
- Opportunity to work with an innovative robotic concept from the beginning
- Opening team position with potential for increased responsibility as the business grows

Important Details
---------------------------
This is not a traditional bubble tea role. The robot prepares the drinks, allowing staff to focus on ingredient preparation, operations, cleanliness, and customer support when needed.
Bobabot is a takeaway-only concept with a compact preparation area located behind the robotic system. During many shifts, you may be the only team member on duty, so being comfortable working independently is important.
Customers order and collect from outside the preparation area, though staff may occasionally assist customers with ordering, answer questions, or explain how the robotic system works.
