Overview
Maison Café is a café brand with locations in Manchester
and Liverpool. We do quality coffee, brunch and bakery —
and we take real pride in what we do. We're growing fast
and we need the right people around us.
We're looking for an Assistant Manager for our
Manchester location. Someone who knows what they're
doing, takes ownership, and wants to be part of
something that's genuinely going places.
The Role
You'll be running the show day to day alongside the
owner. Leading the team, keeping standards high,
making sure every shift runs the way it should.
This isn't a sit-back role — we need someone who
leads from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in.
What You'll Be Doing
- Running daily operations front and back of house
- Leading and looking after the team
- Managing rotas and shift planning
- Keeping on top of stock and supplier orders
- Making sure every guest leaves happy
- Stepping up and taking full control when the
owner isn't in
- Onboarding and training new staff as we grow
- Making sure health, safety and food hygiene
standards are always met
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years experience in a management or
supervisory role in hospitality
- Someone who can lead a team and actually get
the best out of people
- Calm under pressure and able to think on
their feet
- Organised, reliable, and takes real pride
in their work
- Food hygiene certificate is a bonus but
not essential
- Available for early starts, weekends,
and bank holidays
