Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carer to provide personalised care for Male bed bound in Wood green,. Day time support carer will be provided. Night time candidate should manage on their own. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality home care, supporting independence, and enhancing the wellbeing of the individual. The position is paid and requires live-in accommodation, ensuring continuous and attentive care.
Responsibilities
- Providing personalised assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
- Assisting with medication management in accordance with care plans
- Supporting <PERSON> Green with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Engaging in meaningful conversation and social activities to promote mental wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in health or behaviour
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment at all times
- Communicating effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and team members to coordinate care needs
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines, including infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate records and following digital care plans
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
